Well Easter has come and gone. It is a relief to get the "Easter Bunny" stuff over. We had a lot of fun hiding and finding then hiding the eggs again this past weekend. Taylor loved every bit of it. The boys acted like they were too old to go on any of the Easter egg hunts until the actual time of the hunt and then they were the first to run in the field to go find them. We had a great time. It was also a great time to remember what our Savior Jesus Christ did for us. What a great man he is to be willing to die for all of us. But then I think about me own family and I would die for all of them in a heart beat to save them. And I know there was no question or second thought that he had to die for us. It was so great to be able to teach the Easter lesson to our children and to have them start to really understand it. Both Dillan and Weston are getting older and asking more important questions about everything it is great to see them learn and to grow.
Anyway Happy Easter to All

We went swimming!
Weston was invited to go to a birthday party at AF Rec so we all decided to go and play as well. I have been there before but being who I am I forgot how cold their water is. I think I got a great muscle workout. I had every muscle in my body flexed for an hour why my kids played. Taylor Loved the pool. Within minutes her lips turned purple, but she refused to get out. She had a perma shivering grin the whole time. Finally after an hour she let us get out. Her poor little feet were dark dark purple poor thing she was as rigid as a statue bnecause she was so cold. Lesson permanently learned Do Not Swim At AF Rec I am now here a hour later and I am still shivering!!! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

The Allen Family Band
This Christmas Santa was kind to us. We were able to get a PS3 and the Beatles Rock band. Our kids loved it. I kind of have to admit Bryson and I really have liked it to. Whenever we turn it on Taylor is the first one to grab the microphone she loves to sing. However if she doesn't get the mic she bee lines it for the drums. I think watching my kids play and being able to do something together as a family is the best part. Enjoy watching the Allen Family Band! I think we belong on a talent show.

Olympics made us think we were good skiers
It was fun to have the Olympics on the past two weeks. We all liked watching the skiing sports so we decided to take a trip. Taylor loved watching all of the sports, especially the figure skating. Sorry Bryce I let her watch! Anyway whenever the figure skating was on she would jump off the couch and start "skating" on the carpet. She tried to do all of the moves. she would spin and walk backwards and even try to lift up one leg. Unfortunately all of my cameras were out of batteries. You would think I would know better than that since I am A photographer. Anyway I learned a lesson. I have now plugged in all 3 of them. Then I was given a second chance.
Dillan went with us as well. He has come a long way from where he started. All day skiing he wanted to show me a new place on the mountain that eventually led all the way back down. So with at least 45 minutes before the lifts closed we got to the las run that would take us home. Anyway it should of only taken us 15 minutes max but he decided to snowplow all the way down!! We were the last ones on the mountain we had ski patrol follow us down so the could go home. But hey in the end he finally learned how to turn so it was worth it.
Weston complained of a stomach ache so he could stay down by Taylor and eat her treats. But the times we got him on the hill he too was improving.
And me I only fell once of course it was the very end on a flat area right in front of the ski patrol oops. And to make matters worse my legs had had enough and I couldn't get up. the ski patrol had to help me. Very embarrassing!!
